Ta dah…

Finally, my balcony farm is planted for the season.

In the Vegtrug, I have: cauliflower, purple broccoli, rainbow swiss chard, brussels sprouts, zucchini, summer pan squash, purple top turnip, sweet baby watermelon, peas, baby pak choy, baby gai lan, rainbow radishes, french atlas carrots, romaine lettuce, arugula, leeks, baby basil , coriander and mint.  Seems like alot but I have just alittle of each.

I am curious what will turn out well on the balcony farm. I love how full the Vegtrug looks. As I harvest, I will plant another crop.  I won’t waste any real estate on the farm.

In containers on the floor, I have eggplant, beefsteak tomato, zucchini, kale, radish, baby gai lan and potatoes.

Under the Vegtrug, I am growing some Coleus plants that are suited to the shade. Too bad not edible. They fill up the bare space underneath beautifully.

Finally, the most important part… clean windows! I want to see my balcony to table farm from inside my apartment.
